With immediate effect USED4semicon Limited has changed its name to U4Global Solutions Limited.
The name change was deemed necessary to reflect the companies expanding interests in additional services to the semiconductor business and also to assist marketing efforts outside the semiconductor industry.
Over the past eight years USED4semicon has become a respected name supplying services within the semiconductor industry, assisting companies with cost reduction, outsourced procurement and sourcing activities in addition to its core business brokering pre-owned equipment. Software and other web-based data products have also been developed that allow the business now to expand into other sectors.
The name change is purely administrative and is primarily for marketing purposes where a more generic name is required. U4Global Solutions was chosen as it retains an element of the previous name and reflects the global presence and contact base of the company on both the supplier and customer side.
Recently the company has been involved with providing the GLOBALstockroom platform in conjunction with the NMI (National Microelectronics Institute) to allow factories to pool their spares, which has proved very successful in solving machine down issues. Several new projects are underway that increase the support capabilities of customers and suppliers throughout the world, including the launch of VENDORstockroom.com an internet based sourcing system for parts direct from industry vendors.
In addition to its B2B (business to business) offerings the company will now expand some of its B2C (business to consumer) services that have been developed from its technology and capability.
All aspects of the business remain the same, shareholding; trading address, VAT number etc. Bank account numbers remain with only a name change on the accounts. We ask that all records be amended within your organisation to reflect this change. The full address details are below.
